We all know that Hp laptops are the best laptops in the world (obviously after apple). People who don't have a budget to buy mac pc's or laptops have to choose between the two famous brands for buying a lapptop which are Dell or Hp. Here I will discuss the main reason why most of times people prefer to buy any other brand than buying Hp laptop. In many hp models there is a serious problem of overheating. This problem is noticable after certain period of time say after using laptop for a year. If we neglect this problem then it can lead to damage of internal parts of laptop.

Fix heating problem in Hp laptops
For Windows :
For Hp laptops if there is a heating problem then you should firstly go for BIOS(Basic Input Outpu System) update.
In the following article i will explain you how to check your current BIOS version and how to update it if update is available.
Check Current BIOS version :
In
windows, from the start bar search for 'System Information'. In System
Information look for the BIOS information. This is a snapshot of my
laptop Information :
Update Your BIOS version :
For Hp laptops go to http://www.hp.com/ and choose your country. Then select support and drivers option from there and find your laptop model number. Now look if the BIOS version you have is upto date or not.
(Compare both the pictures and you will find that mine is updated one)
For Linux :
In my laptop when i installed Ubuntu in my laptop, it heats very badly to a temperature of about 70-80 °C which is enough to damage all your laptop parts if its use is continued. After searching a lot about fixing this problem i found a very easy solution.
Just type the following commands in your command terminal :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/jupiter
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install jupiter
This will install a application named Jupiter. In this application turn on the power saver mode and you are done. You will observe the changes within 10-15 minutes.
